In laymen terms, an electronic cigarette is comprised of a microcomputer, a battery, an atomizer, and a cartridge/filter. When you inhale, the microcomputer activates the battery, which is used to power the atomizer, which in turn vaporizes the nicotine solution found in cartridge/filter.
